About the community

Dubai's marine past is reflected in Al Jadaf's history. It was originally a lively dhow construction neighbourhood called "The Rower" in Arabic. Shipyards build a massive dhow ready to create history on the waterfront today. Al Jadaf, between Dubai Creek and the Business Bay Extension, connects Downtown Dubai and Business Bay with important roadways and a metro line. History and modernity meet at Zabeel Stadium, Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, Latifa Hospital, and several residential buildings and hotels.
