Dubai Island, a 17-square-kilometre mixed-use waterfront development, consists of five islands on the Dubai shoreline. Marina Island, Central Island, Shore Island, Golf Island, and Elite Island will revolutionise luxury living and recreation on a massive scale. In August 2022, the project changed its name from Deira Islands to Dubai Islands, aligning with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, a guide for sustainable urban development that will guide the city's growth over the next 19 years.
